The strategic placement north of Stockholm and the direct connection to the industrial region of Middle Sweden makes Gävle the perfect place for new establishments. On top of that, add a full infrastructure with the crossing of European routes E4 and E16, three main railway lines and the Port of Gävle. Gävle composes an attractive logistics hub for coordinating ships, trains, cars, containers and combining different forms of transport. An upgrade of the East Coast Railway with southbound and northbound double-track lines will further enhance this role. Also the proximity to Rosersberg’s cargo terminal and Stockholm-Arlanda International Airport weighs in, not to mention the strong development of the Port of Gävle.
